Well said, Gabenbrah.
Taking an average of the scores is essentially meaningless when the respective Xbox One games repeatedly outscored their PS4 counterparts. A few were within a negligible one 'metapoint' of eachother so we'll make those a 'draw'. :)
Bailout's over, PS4s for everyone!
Seriously, this guy.. unreal.
Oh no you didn't, SpawnFist!
Resogun and Forza 4 appear to have the best marks, I'm setting Flower aside since it's the only one that's not actually a new game. After that it's all Xbox.
And yeah.. I wouldn't swap three pennies for Contrast, lol.
That's a fair point. Nintendo also supporting both the Wii U and 3DS with 'triple A' games this winter.
Averages don't tell us much, particularly when they're averages of averages!
As expected Xbox One had the better launch games but neither console performed quite as well as I thought they might - but there's plenty there to play.
LOL
but it's the year of Luigi?
I just can't take the claims of 'institutional bias' seriously.
It's the wrong direction now after turning a certain number of degrees.
They're not 'wrong', it's their opinion that the game wasn't good and, from what I read and watched, they argued their case pretty well.
There are a lot of poorly reviewed games that I love, too.
Ryse appears to be neither. The combat might not be Bayonetta or Ninja Gaiden but I think 8/10 reflects that fact.
So far the outlook is good, hopefully the 'launch window' won't be Wii U epic!
Thanks for acknowledging it Pachter!

GET. IN.
TANK! TANK! TANK! was actually the only disappointment so far for me, I'd hoped (foolishly) it was going to be the arcade version unaltered.
Otherwise, this year has been good for Wii U owners.
That's encouraging.. dunno how much stock to put into this but at least people are having fun.
Spent most of the morning playing about with the voice commands!
Absolutely amazing stuff right here.
